April Bowlby was born in Vallejo, California, and went on to attend Moorpark College where she pursued studies in French, Marine Biology, and Ballet. Modeling was her first love in late adolescence, before she began to pursue acting. The first time she appeared on stage was in 2005 when she appeared as a guest star in "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation".
